Unilever and the United
Nations World Food
Programme are joining
forces in a three year
partnership ‘Together for
Child Vitality’ to improve
the health and nutrition of
poor school aged children
in WFP's school feeding
programme. Both believe
that children deserve a
good start in life, including
optimal nutrition and
hygiene to reach their
full physical and mental
performance. Today
however, hunger and
malnutrition are still the
number 1 risk to the health
of children world wide,
denying them the chance
to a good start. As part of
the partnership programme
students and Unilever
employees are offered an
opportunity to assist in the
school feeding programme
and contribute to the
partnership acitivities.
